In Uganda is a country of forests, foggy, snowy mountain ranges, lakes and rivers, hills, fauna and beautiful landscapes. The country has beautiful scenery and dense tropical rainforests, some of the few in Africa, is home to about half of the world are endangered mountain gorillas. I experienced something that Uganda is truly "gifted by nature" shows.

Arrival in Uganda

We arrived in Uganda and had a short stay in Kampala, capital of Uganda. It 'been sobetter off, relax and experience in Africa with people a warm welcome, beautiful people and service.

The journey into the heart of the Southwest

After our night in Kampala, we left early in the morning in southwest Uganda Safari Guide with Churchill, eager to experience the "pearl of Africa". The journey took us 6 hours to drive through the fascinating journey attractions like the Royal Drum makers, the Equator, and we stopped to enjoy the market roadLunch, fruits and vegetables during the journey. The drive from Kabale Buhoma brought us to 3-4 hours with a 4WD, because the terrain is hilly and the roads are bumpy.
The trip was about 9 hours and we arrived late afternoon and spent the night at Bwindi Tented Camp.

Gorilla tracking safaris in Bwindi National Park
Bwindi National Park is beautiful rainforest, through the steep ridges of the Albertine Rift Valley. The forest is home to 326Gorillas, about half of the mountain gorillas in the world. The height of the forest above 5200 meters, the tracker is to take physical means for the pursuit. Because demand is growing systematically tracking the gorillas, we had a reservation for gorilla permits to organize in advance, and our walk with the help of Churchill Safaris and Travel.

Gorilla tracking experience began in the early morning with the leaders to awaken and prepare for the whole day adventure in the mountains. We then took a long walk at 8:30 am local time clock in the morning through the forest in search of gorillas. Accompanied by a guide and porters, we were equipped with jungle boots and raincoats, because the park is often wet. The terrain can be difficult, with steep slopes covered with thick vegetation, the park is named. Time to track the gorillas varies from less than half an hour, as much as 8 hours, and can sometimes all day! The chase was veryseverely, and stimulate gear, sunscreen, insect repellent and a hat, since time is non-predictable, part of the experience.

The walk through dense forest with our guide brought us to where the gorillas were last seen, and we started after his way through the dense forests of Bwindi. Finally we had the exciting experience if we had a
Meeting with the gorillas. A look at the gentle giants is surely the most exciting encounter Ugandato offer. We were an hour with the gorillas with the rules, of course, limited. We were also a couple of photos of the gorillas, a possibility that no one could Miss Take. Farewell to the gorilla is not easy. Leaving the spectacular view it was a difficult task.

The day with a walk after a long day, with scenes from other attractions such as mammals, including primates day, such as black and white colobus monkeys, ended endemic buffalo and elephants, birds, AlbertineRift and butterflies. The forest has dense under storey of ferns, shrubs, vines and varieties of trees have been here a total of 10, which do not occur else where in Uganda. The day was full of experience and adventure.

Gorilla tracking is the most popular safari in Uganda, although its dependence used by the seasonal movements of groups of gorillas. The experience was worth every drop of sweat, and pay the money, very fun and exciting. 'Experience that is difficult toForget.
